Ethan Volk

Ethan is a Principal focused on AI-native platforms for the modern enterprise. He partners with founders at the inflection point between early product-market fit and scaled growth, supporting companies as they professionalize their go-to-market motion, build durable product moats, and expand internationally.

Ethan joined AVP in 2022 after beginning his career as a technology investment banker at Solomon Partners. Since joining, he has played a key role in investments across AI infrastructure, cybersecurity, developer tooling, and operational intelligence, including partnerships with Strider, Selector, and Orkes. He has also been a board observer at Tive since AVP’s Series B investment.

A Long Island native, Ethan studied finance and operations management at the University of Pennsylvania. Outside the office, he enjoys playing golf and guitar, taking long walks through Central Park, and rooting for his favorite New York sports teams — still holding out hope that this might finally be the Jets’ year.
